Here in the mushy not-frozen-at-all north (Michigan) it is expected to be 60 degrees today! We have had about a week above freezing, even at night. As a result, the roses and forsythia bushes have pushed out about 1" of new growth from their stems...I know that mature bushes have "back up" growing nodes, but it is hard to watch. We know that February's deep cold is sure to come.
