sorry for the some what unrelated question but i have no experience in grow tents and i have a some what of a big brain idea for one
so first off a bit of backstory
i live in aus and it is currently no less than 30c even at night and i have no ac in my apartment.. even if i did it is far too hot and my place has bad insulation so it would just be a VERY costly slightly cooler fan at best...
so if i cant make my room cooler... what if i made a smaller better insulated room and cooled that?
so the question at hand... how feasible would it be to use a portable ac unit to cool a grow tent like this one from "kogan" (Greenfingers Grow Tent 240x120x200cm) for $197 (i cant post links)
it seems to have all the room needed to fit a chair and table for a pc (the pc tower would be outside for less heating) and with a hard floor mat for the chair it should protect the bottom of the tent also it has ducting holes and power cable holes built in so very convent
what are people thoughts and ideas on this and would you be able to recommend any types or brands of tent?
is the one i linked a good price?
i wonder if i could invert the covering so its shiny side out?
how durable are tents like this?
do they normally last years or are they more single use things?
this one seems to be reasonably padded but its hard to tell
