You are probably right. Most of the old antiques were pole beans. I have not seen anything like those in your photo. Closest Is the Amish Knuttle bean which is a white and red speckled bean of similar shape. Your beans however don't appear speckled just solid patches of red. Shape wise it appears to a cutshort type. Yin -Yand beans do have the same appearance as your beans, but would better be described as black and white
