Oh.....well, Steve, it's all relative. When I say something is growing wonderfully, it means it has green leaves, green canes, and maybe had a bloom some time this year. My new roses are at best 2' tall. They all lost all their leaves on May 30 in the hail storm, so they had to start over after that. Then the heat hit, and the wind, and it hasn't let up for the last month. So....wonderful to me is probably what you called sitting there just being green.
Green is good. I'm happy with green this year.
My order from Palatine came within a few days of my order from Edmunds, and each of them had at least 1 rose that never broke dormancy. I need to call both companies about that.
