So:

* hardy to zone 4a
* small to medium height at maturity (+/- 36ft)
* no noticeably large fruits
* low maintenance (doesn't apply really unless you choose the wrong one to begin with, see height)
* nice autumn color
* provides shade
* quick growing


I don't know alot out of the top of my head, especially considering hardiness. I'll give you a link to a Dutch tree grower which I somethimes use just to find species/varieties. Their site has alot of search option at the left of the page. Maybe you'll find something to your liking:
