Hi everyone,

I think I have figured out what my problem is with the bean plants.

You see, my beans have really been struggling. I couldn't figure out why until today. I'm attaching pictures of what's going on.

You see, the leaves are getting all these spots. I couldn't tell what was going on.

Being an amateur microbiologist, I pulled out my microscope. I took off one of the affected leaves, and got a small sample.

I looked at it in a healthy area at 100x magnification.

When I looked at an affected area at 100x magnification, I saw this.

I immediately thought to myself "that's definitely a fungal infection."

Now my question. How can I deal with a fungal infection? Do I need to take the plants that are affected out of the garden? Do I need to use a fungicide or something? What do I do? I've never experienced this.

Could someone help me figure out the best thing to do?

Jared
