I did not take the anthers off. Good catch.
No pollen means collecting seeds is not likely to give me identical plants, I guess. It's mixed in with Forever Susan or something similar, and I'm hoping I can contact the homeowner, and that he/she will share.
It's a persistent plant, lasting 20 years in that spot with not much care, but the Forever Susans might be crowding it.
