Reading your sad post makes me think how much longer I can enjoy my new roses. I'm in my 70's ( God, how'd I get here so fast?) and, so far, have only minor arthritis problems, but, that will get worse in time, I'm sure. I know how hard it is to have had something wonderful and now it's a shadow of what it was. We all have to enjoy what we have and try not to compare it to what was. Maybe that's the key to happiness, which, I wish for you.
