Anya, great observation. I believe Hiep is right on the money that the plants are pot-grown as they tend to grow lots of fine, fibrous roots in pots as opposed to larger taproots in the ground. At one point I had more plants from Osiris than from any other vendor in my garden and they all grew really well; no complaints from me.
Thanks for sharing photos of your order, Anya! I've never seen roots from Brandamore before and they look good. I had the pleasure of meeting Matt of Brandamore at the NY APS convention and he was great, so it's nice to see him get some support and to see what he's sending out. Enjoy!
