You are so right about the value it brings to all four seasons. The Cedar and Bohemian Waxwings visit my tree by the dozens. Unfortunately, the berries become fermented after a time, and the birds get so tipsy they fly into my windows with quite a thud. I've had to put coverings on the windows to prevent them from injuring themselves. The fruit is quite large and deep red. I've had teens walk by and pluck a berry to pop into their mouth only to realize they aren't cherries.
