I agree with what others have said. Nerve Plant (Fittonia albivenis) is a Rainforest plant and loves moist, humid conditions. Even here in humid Florida, I've had difficulty keeping one alive for long unless it's in an enclosed terrarium. One year I put an almost dead potted Nerve Plant out in the yard beneath some shrubbery and forgot about it and months later discovered it was looking beautiful again. I'm not sure what eventually happened to it but it likely was killed during the winter when we had a cold night.
