Eye liner, yes, that's right. (Maybe you can tell that I wear neither eye liner nor mascara, so I had to grope for the right word.
)
I just thought it was interesting to see the strong but narrow line... And since I have only the one rhizome now, I couldn't tell if that was some fluke or if all rhizomes would have it.
If anyone else has SHARE THE LOVE, please take a look at the basal foliage. I'd like some reassurance that it is not my imagination.
(I actually just went out and looked again, and yes, it's still there.... a single line at the very bottom of the foliage, down near the rhizome.)
