Was reading through all this and I agree, remove the yellow leaves they won't get better. That way you can see if the leaves are continuing to turn yellow. If they do you might try putting the plant in a different location. I had one like that were I removed the leaves, then moved the whole plant to a new location. The leaves stopped turning yellow and the plant made a full recovery. You should listen to the others as they are very knowledgeable about fixing ailing plants. I just couldn't stop myself from throwing in my 2 cents. Shrug!
