I feel a little foolish, I never considered Ipomoea but it does look like a viable possibility. The flowers will definitely show if that is correct. I. platensis is the cover picture of 'Pachyforms' a book by Phillipe Vosjoli, and I have that book. I'll post a picture as soon as a bud opens.
