Good day everyone
I just moved to Long Island NY and would like to find a heat tolerant (south facing home) flowering vine which will look decent in the winter for my portico. Everything i seem to come across looks like it may wither away in the winter. Ive looked at the American Wisteria and Clematis bit i fear the vines of the Wisteria may be too strong for my pillars and the Clematis looks like it doesn't look very nice during the frost but i could be wrong. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I think I'm in zone 7b/8a
