Sounds like a great selection! I've decided I have to plant Molineux. And Lady Emma Hamilton really needs to be somewhere in my garden. I'm very fond of Crocus Rose, which has the same color scheme as Litchfield Angel. But the latter sounds better for the perfume. Thinking of Pegasus: I'm trying to plant an 'ivory and buff' section anchored by Buff Beauty and highlighted with a couple strongly colored roses. Maybe Smoky would work.

I've been happy with Claire Austin, though its growth slowed in mid-summer. I'm hoping it returns to vigorous growth in spring. I've been surprised at how pale the foliage is, a light green (by foliage standards) tinged with yellow - a lot like new foliage on some yellow roses, but not ever darkening. I wonder if it needs nitrogen. In any case, the flowers are fragrant, packed with petals, kissed with a little yellow, and held on wiry stems. It's one of those roses of which new growers will complain that the flowers are always looking at the ground. But probably that will change a bit as the plant makes stouter growth. It certainly did for Abe Darby.
When you dance with nature, try not to step on her toes.
