Yippeee! I've got 11 clematis plants in pots that will be more than ready to plant out this spring... and I didn't know where I was going to find the time to make trellises or, rather, arches (have to be free-standing, as there's no fence anywhere near that bed). I've got plenty of those metal T posts for chicken wire, and I think I even have a spool of wire about the right gauge for assembly!

You are AWESOME. Thanks for sharing this clever tip! Now I can take my time making "pretty" arches & obelisks, and meanwhile the clematis vines can do their thing.
