And I totally enjoyed reading this expanded version of the story Betty, it made me want to have a go at hybridizing roses!

I have the honor of growing Michel Cholet, thanks to Betty! It's an awesome rose, actually, my favorite mini, with it's great rebloom and beautiful coral blooms.(below) I am on the lookout for Winter Magic now. Green Grin!
We have met a couple of times already, once when hubby and I stopped at her home in Bakersfield and the second time when we met at a daylily event. I really enjoy her enthusiasm for her plants and she has been quite influential in my renewed interest in iris. Thumbs up My garden is prettier thanks to you Betty!
