I had the plant veggie crazies last year and I have the plant veggies crazies again this year. Well, the crazies is mostly planting tomatoes but I do plant peas, beans and cucumbers also. And I am actually really organised this year.
I got some bales of straw afew days ago to use as mulch and today I had two yards of compost delivered and spread over the veggie beds. I wanted to have the straw to put out as soon as the compost was on so that is what I did.
After putting the straw out I put in all the tomato cages. Now I just have to buy my tomato plant seedlings and I am good to go. Really just go around and wiggle a hole thru the mulch into the compost and pop in a plant.

The last of the tomato beds is in the front yard. Last year my tomatoes planted here off the front porch grew to 7 feet tall.
I will be planting beans (yardlong beans) and cucumbers as well as tomatoes but so far I only have peas planted. Mostly in pots though I do have some in ground. The ones in pots are doing better than the inground ones though.
