I am excited to report that my Salvia oxyphora survived the winter in the ground! It is making many small green shoots from its crown. I am so happy, happy happy!! Admittedly it was a very mild winter. We never got one snowfall that stayed on the ground. I also covered the plant with a big pile of leaves so it had quite a bit of protection. I can't wait to see it take off and make a bazillion flowers! :-D
