Ha! my veggie farm is almost open for business. I went to my favorite nursery today and bought my veggie seedlings. Lots and lots of tomatoes which I will list in a bit.

But I also bought Zuchini and Eggplant. Never have grown them before. Bought a six pack of each because although I do not intend on planting six those six packs are cheaper than one of those larger single plants.

Then got six packs of peppers and my favorite burpless cucumbers that I always buy there. The peppers are Cubanelle, a favorite of mine for stir fries.

And a six pack each of Boston Lettuce and a brocolli.

Now to the tomatoes. I did buy afew of those single pots. I got one of each-
Viva Italia
Sungold
Suggery
Kelloggs Breakfast
Prudens Purple
Power Pops

Viva Italia. Sungold and Sugery all all returnees I had last year. Kellogs Breakfast and Purdens Purple are new for me heirlooms I want to try. Power pops looks like a cherry tomato, I bought it simply because it has lots of green tomatoes already set on the plant. Totally an impulse buy!

Now most of the tomatoes I bought in six packs and these are one six pack each-
Big Boy
Better Boy
Beefmaster
Early Girl
Juliet
Sweet Million
Rutgers
Jet Star
Big Beef

I have had the Sweet Million before but not for years. I remember them being a small tomato bigger than a cherry but very tasty.

Most of the above are returning favorites. But the Rutgers, Jet Star and Big Beef are new for me, never had them before.

Thats it, my tomatoe plants are alll bought, not getting any others. I did have seed this winter but never did get around to starting it. Maybe next year. But I am so excited to have my tomato plants.

Here are all my veggies unpacked from the car and set out here in the sunshine where I watered them-
