Karol's daylilies do wonderfully well in my zone 6/7 garden. I began following her hybridizing program a year or two before she had her first introductions, because of the clear colors.
Fifteen of hers grow here, and if there was more room, I'd grow more.

A seedling of Karol's. She remembered that I'd admired this in her garden in 2007 and sent me a piece of it several years later. Amazing lady!
