My 'Silver King' is also large, about 7inches and growing! But I don't know how easy it would be to find this type. There is another 'Silver king' which isn't smooth and large like this one.
Here is yesterday's photo (with too much sun, but you get an idea. (I was taking the photo to see if its coning, which hooray, it isn't!)

this photo shows more clearly that there is no coning, yet anyway! And there are chicks beginning! The white speckley stuff about mid way up the plant at the base of the leaf, is offsets coming in!! Hurray!
