Our local nursery is having a rose-reduction sale: originally $24.99, now $5! Nothing particularly special offered, but I got a couple of old garden type replacements for this year's elderly, dying hybrid teas, plus a couple of mystery roses. At some point all the hybrid teas I planted many years ago will give up and I will have fewer leafless sticks, meanwhile, as I have plenty of room, they get to struggle along as long as they like.
