@CindikS thank you for reminding me of a happy memory.
We had a fourth grade teacher who loved her begonias. During long school breaks when there was no heat on in the school building, very special students were allowed to each take home one plant for safekeeping. My friend Nancy's mother was only too happy to have one in her home. And she always took several cuttings before sending the plant back to school. Nancy's mother was the person responsible for teaching me about all aspects of gardening.
