How about trying another source for lupine plants.
Just my bias but WFF isnt the best where plants are concerned.
Just because they have a long standing reputation doesnt mean they are reliable plant growers.
Many people who live in the area buy from them direct at the farm.
My mail orders were horrible and the other websits listed them as the 5 worst.
