No to the electric fence, and I do know both neighbors have lost chickens to predators. So far, we've been OK. I do lock the chickens in their coop at night which is the normal time for attacks. But, unusual to see a coyote so blatantly close in the daytime. Frankie is pretty good at sounding the alarm when there are any unusual animals in the vicinity, and I plan to putt around outside today (in spurts, it's COLD out there).
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
