Water doesn't work..tried that. When you make a cutting, make the cut on the bottom, right where a leaf will grow..not below it, or above it, right on it....I make the cutting about 4" long. Then you stick the cutting into some dirt. (I prefer to use dampened coir) keep the pot moist but not soggy and hope for the best. Now is a good time to do it. Also keep the pot out of direct sun.
