Last year I didn't really see the difference between new and old foliage to know what to cut away. To me it looked like the only new growth was the bloom stalks. Shrug!

I hadn't really realized either that there were so few available (online) to select by cultivar or type. I bought a couple of plants from Santa Rosa last year, but I don't see anything in their lists for 2014.
