Mmm, the colorful Swiss Chard looks like it's ready for your 'girls' to come and snack on it again, David!

That last orchid is a little orphan named Lc. Renate I picked up from a local grower who went out of business. Sure has been a good bloomer for me for 2 years now.

It's so true that some orchids like the cooler temps. I left all my Phals (mostly rescues from the death rack at Lowe's) outside through the cold snaps, and they all look fine. One even has a flower spike coming on strong! Some need a dip in temperature to stimulate them to bloom. I think that as long as you don't "shock" them by moving outside from a greenhouse or indoors, they harden to the outdoor variations pretty well.
