One of my death rack phals is almost done blooming.............it had 5 small "buds" on the stem. One day, about 6 weeks ago, I happened to see 2 more bloom spikes coming off the one that had the buds left. I've never seen THAT before, tho my sister told me not to cut the spent spike off. And it is shooting another bloom spike from the bottom of the plant.........6-8 inches long or so right now. I think I paid $3.00 for it last summer.
