I did end up with a couple of beautiful striped blooms on Granada, and the whole bush of Oklahoma produced striped blooms one year, but both roses had been growing in the ground for more than 20 years by then. I'm not sure how long it takes a rose to produce a sport. In fact, I don't know much about sports at all. I don't even know why some are recognized and some aren't. Our local nurseries have always sold a climbing version of Charisma, for instance, and I have two of them growing in my garden, but HMF.com has never acknowledged the existence of a climbing Charisma.
