Oh, yes that does look like it! Bingo!! I did not think 4 years was very old. LOL. I throw down a top dressing of alfalfa and it is cheap too! I get the pellets, they dissolve fast. I also like Milorganite, it keeps some of the critters away like rabbits and cats. I heard it is not a good idea to use it if you have a dog, they love the smell and will roll around in it. LOL. (the hostas really love it)
Also August is growing season for hosta roots so I hook up my hose end sprayer and give them a good dose of Miracle Grow.
