That still sounds like an awful lot of work! I'm more of a "throw it on the ground and forget about it" kind of gardener. I usually just spread 10-10-10 fertilizer in the early spring, and have had nice growth. Thought I'd try this and see how it does...Paul's hosta always look so beautiful and healthy, I think he must be doing something right!
When all is said and done, there’s more said than done.
