Rick, here's a couple websites you and others (myself included) might enjoy. Apparently, there are quite a few new Species being brought out of this region on the Chinese side of the Himalayas as well (now that china is becoming somewhat more open). A Norwegian seed collector, Bjornar Olsen, who now lives in China, has been searching the regions of the Hengdaun mountain ranges that border the eastern end of the Himalayas but within southwestern China. His website lists many newly discovered species seed. www.trillium.no Scroll to lilium. A grower/propagator in Scotland, www.pitcairnalpines.co.uk also sells many of his new discoveries. Bjorner Olsen also has an interesting Facebook page with many photographs which he provides an open link to on his website--you don't have to be a Facebook member to view it. Be sure and check it out. Enjoyable and informative.
