I'm new to fairy gardens. I'm working on my first one and I'm having a lot of fun creating it. I took a birdhouse from Walmart and covered the roof in pinecone petals and the sides are covered in tiny twigs. The little window is made from painted match sticks. And I painted the little curtains on the birdhouse before I glued the match sticks on. I only have 2 plants in the garden right now, a variety hens and chicks succulents I saved from my in-laws trash and a John Creech sedum. My 5 yr. old daughter and I are having fun looking for minis to include. She had added a tiny Tinkerbell figure and the chameleon from the movie Tangled. Here are a few pictures.
