I think also that the "plant" may be 2 different plants! The taller stem flower on the right looks like 'Charlie's White' .
I have a group of self-seeded peonies growing in a space of about 8'x4' that are now mature blooming plants. This spring when they
first came up I tried to put a marker in front of each group of stems that I thought would be a plant. I put in 9 markers. Now that they have bloomed,
different shades of pink, rose, and white; also doubles and singles, I believe I have at least 15 plants! So this fall I plan to dig up all the roots, see how they are growing beneath the ground, divide them, and line them out in a new bed. Should be a fun task!
