Since I first posted this, I've noticed some dead Photinia shrubs out there, and a pretty palm tree I drive by often is still all brown. Maybe the Cucurmas did come up at the other house after we moved at the end of April. I hope so! I can't drive by, in case they aren't appreciating the plants I left.
