Tara, you are not doing anything wrong. If you want to have something blooming every day you simply have to collect/grow Orchids that bloom at different times of the year. It helps if you go to Orchid Show or visit Orchid nurseries at different times of the year and buy what's in bloom. Many on-line vendors will feature now-in-bloom Orchids on their front page, Santa Barbara Orchids comes to mind, but actually most do that!
And in addition you will find that some Orchids will bloom several times a year. ( Potinara Hoku Gem is one of them)
If you buy only Fall blooming Cattleyas, then your major "show" is in Fall…..
So, you simply need more Orchids!! Whistling

Not to diminish Jim's wonderful growing. I wish I could grow such beautiful Phals! And the Blooms on Fire are gorgeous, Elaine.
