Elfin, after I "rotate" a picture in MS Office, I often forget to Save it.
Once I see it upright onscreen, something inside me feels that now it IS right and I forget that extra step of Saving.
I also think that any "system of systems" like cameras, photo-editing software, operating systems and Web browsers is prone to complex and hard to predict behavior. (* Footnote One)
To Paraphrase Clarke's Third Law:
"Any sufficiently complex software is indistinguishable from FUBAR."
(Dave's websites are exceptions to that Law. Probably because he works hard to build in as much simplicity as possible)
