I think the eggshell is gold, but it was hard to tell. The eggs stuck firmly to the leaf and when I pulled got one loose, it was very hard and it bounced away like a tiddlywink. I finally crushed some between two paper towels and what I got was a brown smear (very small) and a few tiny bits of shell. Any ideas?
