Often, the young, normal looking Fame Monstrose rosettes will convert to the monstrose form as they mature. Also, some rosettes that look normal even when mature will produce monstrose offsets. It seems to me that many of them will alternate generations between normal and monstrose form. I'm "casually" working to isolate a possible line of monstrose rosettes that do not alternate or revert, but so far nothing consistent to report. I'm moving 2nd gen monstrose rosettes from monstrose hens to a separate location to see if eventually I'll end up with consistent monstrose rosettes. This is one of my favorites.
