Bay Area temps are at times 5 to 10 degrees cooler than our place. The marine influence there helps regulate temperatures so it is really fantastic for succulents.

During winter our area gets the valley inversion, so we get colder, but by summer time we get much hotter.

That is a lovely photo of a jade succulent Mark! Love it! Lovey dubby Jades do nicely on my side too. Survives very well our mild winters.
