Well, it does take a couple of years, and you'd likely have to 'diddle' the flowers with a paintbrush to pollinate it if it bloomed inside the greenhouse. But you aren't dying quite that soon, are ya??

If you started a bunch of tops now, you could be selling pineapples at the farmer's market - in Wisconsin ! ! nodding - in the summer of 2017. I can just see the sign now "Locally grown pineapples". Rolling on the floor laughing
