Pretty sure a lot of what you grow on your rooftop would do great in the thin, shifting shade of those big Live Oaks. Certainly my brugs love it. Don't forget how much stronger our sun here is - not only further south but much cleaner air, too. (no industry) I'd be upset if you cut down those 200+ year old trees too, (bigger one in the back yard) but you sure could thin them regularly to keep lots of light getting through. It's a wise practice here anyway, to keep their windage down for storms.

I love the idea of the bait tank bath - but then I'm a diver so I swim with fishes anyway. You're a creative genius, for sure!

I'll post another picture or two when that bush puts out some new blooms.
