Ken I think most of the "Jewel" Orchids, such as the Stenosarcos, Ludisa etc, bloom this time of year. Mine live outside in a large shallow clay pot till we start getting these long runs of below 50ยบ nights and it's blooming now. I should get a pic ! .
At the nearby Orchid nursery they have a HUGE bench of them and they are all blooming, and I'm sure their temperature / humidity are more evenly held than in my greenhouse. They are just late winter bloomers.
