Wow, what a picture grouping you have there, very nice! I did look for the bat-faced cuphea because I never heard of it!,
did not see it, or just did not know what it looked like maybe. I definitely suggest the bucket of water because you tap on the leaf and the beetles just fall right in really easy. I do this at the first sign of them trying to control populations early as possible.
I would never use the traps, they say it just draws more to your yard.
You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because they have roses!
