It is a beauty. I have 4 of them (there were 6 before the rainy season took some down). Oddly enough my red shrimp has some upright blossoms and some that drape down...still i am sure these are Justicia brandegeeana. I call them my hummingbird feeders because hummingbirds are always feeding from them year round. They also host a variety of butterflies, but the caterpillars eat the leaves and not the bracts unless they run out of leaves so it works out for both the hummer and the caterpillars.
