I've a few bloomers inside -

Thumb of 2015-03-04/jmorth/78ca05

Thumb of 2015-03-04/jmorth/9e4b5b - 2nd Velthemia (Forest Lily) to bloom this winter

Yellowstone Hyacinth (1st of 6) -

Blettia - just starting (have purple and white) - Thumb of 2015-03-04/jmorth/9e7682

Just about to open, first Queen's Tears -

Lachenalia finished a week or so ago. - Thumb of 2015-03-04/jmorth/17f73b

Forced bulbs soon to appear, 5 pots in staging area, about 40 to go (they'll come in 3 waves).

I hesitate to refer to most of the above as houseplants, most are winter-blooming bulbs.. I do have an African Violet and Streptocapus that periodically bloom.
Nothing that's been done can ever be changed.
