We had a treat this morning. We were sitting on the front porch & there's a hummie feeder hanging right there over the porch rail just in front of our foot rests. A hummie came up & we froze.

It landed on the feeder & sipped and then just sat there for a while. This is what we've been waiting for. The time when our hummies recognize us & are no longer so shy.

This must be one of our regulars from the past 2 years. Of course I did not have the camera out there.

This photo was taken through the *dirty* kitchen window yesterday.

We're seeing a lot of action now. Today I was looking out front & saw one sipping, I walked into the kitchen & saw one sipping & then went onto the back porch where I saw one on the back yard feeder too.
